The giraffe can keep no secrets from her neighbours at the zoo,
for those nosy little creatures always know what she’s up to.
You’ll see her little neighbours all throughout each day and night,
upright atop their tree stump, staring back with all their might.
They note the time that she awakes and all she has to eat
and even when she does those plops that land between her feet.
Giraffe will often loudly moan her lack of privacy,
‘Whose bright idea was it to put those meerkats next to me?’
